I use positive methods,
attention training and praise. If we teach dogs attention
in a positive way the dog will respond accordingly. We
are so used to saying ‘no’ to everything that
‘no’ becomes their world. I prefer to teach
them our language and then show them what it is we want
them to do. Dogs are capable of learning over two hundred
commands.
Gain control before
you lose control!
With positive methods, dogs not only behave better, they
actually enjoy training. Reward based methods also strengthen
the dog-owner bond. |
